The Riverside Cottage in Waterford

At Riverside Cottage, I checked in for a rest, But the staff were so lovely I felt overly blessed. They greeted me smiling—no frowns, no despair— I started to wonder if kindness was mandatory there. The waitresses, though… absolute legends, I swear. They zoomed through the dining room like they owned the air. Drinks appeared instantly—like some magical trick— I blinked, and bam, my meal arrived quick. Their jokes were on point, their timing precise, I laughed so much I forgot to chew twice. And when dessert came, I shed a small tear— I’m not saying it changed my life… but it’s close, let’s be clear. So if you want great food with some laughs on the side, And staff so helpful they might legally qualify as a guide, Head to Riverside Cottage—it’s worth the trip, no doubt. Five stars from me… and my now permanently raised brow.

Myself & hubby visited here a week ago for lunch. Good friendly helpful staff. Pat is the Face of this place with his bubbly warm welcome & upbeat way. He sets the tone for a Great experience! The prawns in garlic & white wine were Delicious with the toasted sourdough bread. The side salid was Nummy & caesar salid was Nummy with not Too much ceasar dressing on it. The chips were fairley well done & Delicious (never mind these Anemic half Raw chips you get in some places 🙄). The Baked alaska was So tasty too. I would have No hesitation recommending this Smart place to any Groups or couples. We enjoyed it So much we were Here twice in 10 days 😀

I would highly recommend the Riverside Cottage Restaurant, the food, service and ambiance are more than perfect!. We were welcomed the second we arrived at the door and the waiters were very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!!

Fantastic and welcoming atmosphere, Taylor and Pablo's live show was incredible, I didn't have the chance to try the food but I would definitely recommend it and I will be back to try the entire menu which looked delicious.

Had drinks here recently in the outdoor covered area, prices are fair and beer was above average.
