came here for the "Johnny Depp Table Quiz" winner gets a free bar tab! did not disappoint! myself and my team "The Deppsters" placed third overall. Which got us two free rounds and a lego Jack Sparrow action figure! Absolutely unreal!

The Rock Pub is a super cozy spot with a beautiful interior. It gives strong medieval vibes, almost like stepping into an old Irish inn. We went on a weekday, so it was quiet and peaceful—perfect if you want to relax. They’ve got a pool table and even a piano, and the seating near the fireplace is especially nice. They also offer discounts on certain beers through a card system. With the card, three beers cost €13 instead of €18, which is a great deal. Overall, it’s a warm, cozy place that’s easy to enjoy.

Seventy Six on The Mall

28/09/2025: The Imperial Hotel is a classic Irish hotel with plenty of charm. My room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and I especially liked the bathroom interiors; they had a nice touch of elegance (wish I’d remembered to get a video of them!). 🛁 That said, my room was located in the basement, with a view directly into other rooms, which wasn’t the most inviting. At €220 per night (without breakfast), the value felt a little off for what was offered. The big plus here is the central location, it’s right in the heart of Cork, making it really easy to explore the city. Overall, a decent stay if location is your top priority, though there are a few trade-offs. Ratings: 🛏️ Room Comfort & Design: 3.5/5 🛎 Service & Ambience: 4/5 💸 Money’s Worth: 3/5

28/02/2026: Met Conor, Darren & Britney tonight they were absolutely brilliant to me & my partner visiting Cork for the weekend! Made us feel right at home and went over and above for us. Great bar, will be back !
