Really lovely bar/ restaurant with friendly staff and great food .

Stayed here two nights. Absolutely lovely place in such a quaint little village. Brilliant cliffside walk nearby. Fantastic breakfast from very kind staff. We had a lovely conversation after breakfast with the landlord where he told us a bit about the village and its history. Cannot recommend the B&B enough to anyone in the area.

The best place ever good people

Fabulous food in the Schooner. The attention to detail was a joy to see. Freshly cut lettuce as a side salad, homemade sauce, freshly cut chips. Simple additions to a meal but why doesn’t everyone else do it? Lovely staff in a very pretty town

Pleasant room, good bedding, boss very attentive and gives ideas for visits to the region, available and efficient, very generous breakfast. Ballycotton is a somewhat isolated town but does not lack charm.

Very tasty food at acceptable prices.

Arrived at 740 in hopes of a table as finish at 8.00. Was very busy but they found table for us. Chowder was stunning, full of fish. Scampi gorgeous Great service Reasonably priced Will return

Had an overnight stay in the Schooner while attending a gig in the nearby seachurch venue. Check in was in the bar, no problem with that and we were shown to our room. Nice sized room with a large ensuite. We had drinks and dinner in the bar, food was excellent and so was the service. Ballycotton is a lovely spot with nice walks and spectacular scenery. Had a good night's sleep and the breakfast next morning was very good and lots of it. Really enjoyed our stay and it was great value considering the location and quality of the breakfast and service. Ideally located in the centre of the town and a stones throw from seachurch. If you are going to a show in seachurch then you couldn't go wrong with a stay in the Schooner.

Staff are friendly and helpful and very welcoming. While it was busy on both occasions, the girls were very attentive, taking drinks orders and the wait was not too long for food. There is a lovely selection of food on the menu which was delicious. Dessert was yummy. Looking forward to returning the next time we are in Ballycotton ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
