The Secret Garden in Galway

Totally beautiful, vintage and quality products. The attention is very good, with a calm atmosphere.

En una tarde húmeda y fresca El Jardín Secreto fue un lugar inesperado de refugio y refresco al final de un fin de semana. La bienvenida era cálida, incluso para nuestro perro, y el espacio estaba disponible en el "jardín secreto" cubierto. Los asientos interiores también incluían un espacio informal relajado y a juzgar por los otros visitantes con su material de lectura, esto también es favorito entre los lugareños. Hay una increíble variedad de sabores de té y el curry de guisante era justo lo que se necesitaba. Muy recomendable, con o sin perro o hijo!

A lovely little spot for a break after a long walk. The kids really enjoyed their hot chocolates, and the coffee was good. Normally, the treats are great, but the pastries were a bit stale this time, and the cheesecake had a foamy texture. Still, it’s a cosy café with a nice atmosphere, so we’ll definitely be back again!

This is a lovely little restaurant located in the heart of Galway City. I often meet with my sister here for lunch and we order some tea and baked goods. Hope to visit again soon. - B

What a great spot for tea and meeting friends. Outdoor garden seating in the rear, local art on the walls, by local artists. Sometimes live music. Always welcoming

I love the atmosphere here and the amazing selection of tea! Great spot if you want to take some time off and even just by yourself it’s probably one of the best places to be. As a matcha lover I ordered a matcha tea here and it came out filled up to the top which was a bit surprising (it was impossible to hold the cup as it would get too hot everywhere) and it was a bit watery.

Been coming here yearly since 2021 and it’s always a pleasure. Very cozy place with a wide array of pastries and coffee/tea beverages. Anything you want really. Despite what some reviewers have said, the staff here is friendly. They may come across as rude to some, but let’s understand that they are serving the public for over 10 hrs a day. It takes a toll on anyone and there is only so much energy you can put out there as a service industry worker. They were all cordial and I had no issues with that. I was fortunate to sit next to the cafe cat that frequented the place since its inception. The most chill cat that ever lived. Unfortunately she passed last fall, but lived a good life! I’m happy she had a peaceful environment around here till she moved on. That being said, I highly recommend this place for a nice morning start.

Really lovely atmosphere. My spot on as I was wandering in the neighborhood. They really have a secret garden in the back of the store. The drink was okay but the staffs were very nice.

I’ve visited twice during my 2 days trip. I expected to meet the cat but sadly he went to the cat planet last Autumn. They have a cozy indoor and a lovely garden. Mostly they don’t have seats inside, I’d recommend here to a small group with tea people. You can find various tea selections and loads of cakes and pastries as well. Staffs are so kind. I took milk woo long tea and London fog, a warm rhubarb crumble with fresh cream. I’d recommend everything I had.
