The Silver Oak Indian Restaurant, Newbridge in Newbridge

We went there for authentic Indian and yes, we were impressed. To start with, food was totally to our taste. Not overly spicy, not sweet. We ordered karahi gosht and butter chicken. The mutton was delicious. Butter chicken was the best I've had in ireland. Smooth gravey, flavorful. The owner was helpful while ordering because he suggested what we might like. For starters we were confused, so he suggested the platter which had one of each type. It was a good choice. I particularly liked the green chicken. It was nice n juicy. Unfortunately we ate so much of the starters and main course that dessert had to be skipped. Next time I think I'll start with the desserts menu 😋

The best Indian Take Away in Newbridge. Don’t bother ordering or ordering from anywhere else this is the best.

Such a lovely restaurant. We have tried a new dish every time we visit and it never disappoints. Very friendly staff and great portions. Also recommend as an Indian takeaway away.

Amazing food, great service, huge menu, one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Been here twice and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend the Rogan Josh Lamb, and the Garlic Naan.

Great food was really quiet on Monday when we went but good staff and food

Great place with nice authentic Indian food. We ordered dal makhni, paneer chilli masala and mushroom bhaji. All curries were delicious. Mango lassi was lovely! The only slight drawback was that the naans/breads were less crispy. But would definitely recommend trying this place!! 😊

Absolutely delicious Indian food, and some really inventive recipes I haven't seen anywhere else. We got two starters, three mains and some sides, and everything was great. This is definitely up there with the top Indian restaurants we've eaten in, my wife even thinks it might be the best. Service was prompt and good. We will be coming back, and hopefully soon

Recommend by my Pakistani friend. The place is spacious, beautiful decorated, clean, and with authentic foods , the service is very good. Definitely come again!
