Had such a great meal here! There were 13 of us, and the service was brilliant which wasn't easy with such a big group! Everyone enjoyed their food, the portions were generous, prices reasonable and staff just lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back, such a lovely place.

Had the three course meal option tonight (available on Wednesday and Thursday) faultless! Great service from Emma and her team. I wish the new management every success.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Food & service excellent, and exceptional value for money. We will be back very soon. Particular mention to Emma, the barman and chef, doing a fabulous job making customers happy, well done - not easy to find these days.

Called in this evening for something to eat and boy was I surprised they had a special 3 course menu on and it was absolutely delicious at a budget price! Service was prompt attentive and friendly the portions were huge lol more that could ever eat! I would highly recommend a visit here 5 star +

Highly recommend. They accommodated 8 people without a reservation, we could pay separately, dog friendly. Very nice and polite blonde waitress.

Food was fantastic and served in good time with polite staff. I highly recommend the spicy chorizo and seafood dish ( could of done with a few less mussels and some prawns added in)

The food was delicious, the dinner menu was amazing and a great price, the music made the atmosphere that much better! Could spend hours talking to Emma and Larry! Lovely place!

It’s such a shame, this place used to be a great place to visit. The location, the staff and particularly the food. Ok so the location is obviously still great, and I found the staff to be friendly but the menu is no way near as exciting as it used to be and the food served was disappointing. I used to love ordering the seafood here but I was so uninspired by the new menu that I ordered the chicken, which came out tough, and well over cooked. If you can’t get something as simple as a breast of chicken right I don’t think there’s much hope of winning another gastro pub award any time soon. Hey ho.. I guess I was lucky to experience this place in its prime.
