The Spotted Dog in Dundalk

Was visiting from Belfast food was hot and amazing and not expensive lovely atmosphere

Just had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed. A really good place to just relax and enjoy

I am baffled that the guys still don't have a Michelin star. They deserve it like none other!

I visited The Spotted Dog for lunch on Sunday with my partner and our dog, We were warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival, They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, even bringing treats, a bowl of water, and plenty of affection for our dog. The food was delicious, and service was prompt, a definite plus when you’re hungry, While portion sizes were smaller compared to other establishments, the quality was excellent. The only drawback is that the outdoor seating area doubles as a walkway between two buildings, which may make some guests feel uneasy during their meal, due to the foot traffic.

A lovely little cafe in the middle of town ,nice friendly staff and good value well made food ,the young lady that served us was very professional but also welcoming and sort of place you would definitely return to

Food tasty, coffee tasty, pleasant stuff but they are pricey -specially that I find the place could do some renovation…

Wir haben einen Tisch zum Abendessen reserviert und wurden 2 mal angeschrieben um die Reservierung zu bestätigen. Am Tag an dem wir dort essen wollten, meldete sich ein Mitarbeiter telefonisch und wollte die Uhrzeit verändern, das Restaurant wurde um 17 Uhr für Touristen geschlossen. Wir wollten natürlich nicht zu früh essen gehen und mussten uns ein anderes Restaurant suchen. 👎

Gorgeous food and a very attentive team. We thought it was very competitively priced for great quality dishes. Love the fact they now have a deli next door. 3 out of 3 recent visits were 👌 thank you guys.

A lovely little cafe that serves a variety of dishes and has regular daily specials. I stopped in during my journey through the village and was warmly welcomed. The overall atmosphere is great, and the service was quick! I ordered a sandwich and it arrived timely, made fresh with great ingredients! I highly recommend stopping by.
