The Stables Townhouse & Emporium in Birr

A really nice spot for breakfast and the choice is massive. I went for a cheese, bacon, mushroom and onion omlet and it did not disappoint. It was so cheesey which made me very happy! Coffee is delicious too. Would recommend!!

Looks lovely. Plan to eat here next time I'm in Birr. Edit: I ate here, and can't compliment the food enough. The service was pleasant if a little relaxed

The stables is a fantastic place for both fashion and food! The atmosphere is so beautiful and relaxing! The toilets are the nicest public toilets I have ever been in. I've never had a bad experience in all the times I've been there. Would highly recommend. I've bought many dresses from here also and everytime without fail when I wear the dresses, I get asked where they are from as they are always stand out pieces 💜

I popped in for a cappuccino and cake (gluten free) and they were delicious. Best chocolate brownie I’ve had! Everyone was really nice and welcoming. The Stables is pet friendly and I sat outside in the beautiful yard with my dog. It’s a unique place situated just a short walk from the castle. We plan to be back on our next trip to Birr.

Went in the tea rooms for some lunch after a walk around Birr Castle. It's really beautiful. The decor is stunning. The staff went above and beyond to please and were so attentive. We had a lovely lunch and because it was all so good we stayed for cake...gorgeous!!

Absolutely fantastic place to vist. Beautiful food, absolutely adorable the boutique and gift shop. Some fabulous gift ideas. Definitely worth a visit. Staff are very friendly and helpful. 100%recommend

Stayed for 2 nights recently at 'The Stables',and had the most wonderful stay.Beautiful old Georgian house.Bedroom lovely and the bed just so comfortable.Staff absolutely super and nothing is too much trouble.Breakfast a pure delight with something on the menu for everyone.Lunches and coffee cakes available daily and the food just fantastic.Could not recommend the Stables more highly to stay or just to pop in if you are in the locality.Central to everything and fab shop too.A wonderful destination and again the most brilliant friendly and lovely staff.Fil Keane.
