The Stag's Head in Dublin

I visited The Stag’s Head around 1:00 pm for lunch, mainly because I was curious to try their Guinness beef stew. When I arrived, it looked like most people were just having drinks, but the waitress explained that many were actually waiting for food. Even though the pub was nearly full, I was able to get a table straight away, which was great. The wait for food was about 19 minutes, which felt reasonable given how busy it was. The stew itself was decent and comforting, but not particularly memorable. It was quite vegetable-heavy, with less beef than I expected. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch experience with good service and atmosphere, though the Guinness beef stew wasn’t quite a standout for me personally.

Was recommended by a local in a coffee shop to visit ! Now can’t fault the place and would say best pub we visited during our stay in Ireland! Atmosphere 10/10 ! Staff omg amazing at the bar and table service available! Went for one drink stayed for 5 and will say the best pint poured and what you call normal prices around £6 a pint for great Guinness ! Keep up the great work

This place needs a good deep clean with the lights on .

Nice pub, but unfortunately the kitchen was closed during our visit so we had to move on after one drink

Came for only Irish coffee, but i was not disappointed, the original really is most known for a good simple reason: It is as good as they say

Got the ham and cheese sandwich, it was lovely. Staff are nice and good to chat with.

Exceptional spot, great vibe inside. Lovely staff and an excellent irish coffee. Upstairs area is great, a bit quieter but difficult to find.

Probably my favorite pub in Dublin overall. Both historic and fun. They pour a great pint of Guinness and make a spectacular Irish coffee. Great spot for a date or a night out
