Wonderful service, barman very friendly, great recomendation with the Cutback, had a couple lovely pints of it, great drop, even gave me a taster of the White Hag!!

The portion size was big, stadf were friendly. We ordered lamb and beef, beef was perfect and easy to chew, while lamb needed more cooking time as it was hard to even cut! it was a bit dark inside! however, I would recommend this restaurant but wouldn't suggest to order lamb ;) plenty of parking is in strandhill parking which is close to the restaurant

Overall experience was good. The atmosphere was great, interior design is absolutely lovely & cozy. I ordered the Chowder Soup which was fantabulously delicious in the cold weather. However, I also ordered the Powers Irish Coffee (with alcohol), but ended up getting a normal non-alcoholic coffee with cream on top instead (photo attached). It was tasty nonetheless, but I guess the staff mis-heard, and I didn't bother asking the staff to change, which brings me to the next point 👇 During busy times you will have to wait a long time for a staff to get your order, so it's best you order anything from the bar directly.

Disappointed with overall experience. The older staff member who showed us to our seating was unfriendly. The cubicle we were seated at was too small for two separate tables with two separate couples. It meant we couldn’t speak without the other’s overhearing. There were several other free tables. Surely this lady should realise that people couldn’t possibly have a private or comfortable conversation in that cubicle. The serving staff were excellent and really friendly and efficient. The soup which was very tasty but it was lukewarm. We were so hungry that we ate it. The sandwich had very fatty bacon which maybe could have been trimmed off as it said crispy bacon on the menu. These may be small complaints but overall the experience was disappointing.

Well what can I say this place gets better and better. I was back here again after about 5 years and it's as good now as it was then it's like a good wine it gets better with age. To everyone who is in strandhill do not DO NOT leave without calling into the strand bar call in an you'll understand so you will.

Only had drinks here but loved the vibe and will defo visit again! Nice outside area and inside. Has Tv with the footie on too!

This is a great place to have a relaxing lunch. Better to sit outside and enjoy the view of the Atlantic Ocean. We started with the soup and it was very good. It came with brown bread which was dry and flavorless. My wife had the Seafood Chowder and thought it was excellent. All the seafood in Ireland is good. I had the Fish & Chips and it was excellent. The portion size was large and the chips were crispy. Service as good and the ambience excellent.
