Lovely little Hotel with a genuine old Dublin vibe and charm. My room was very small but very cosy, clean and lovely view of the beach. The location is very pretty plenty of decent pubs abd restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, good value for money and would happily stay again.

We stayed here 3 nights.very nice place with good peoples. Food was so good and view of beach fantastic. I will come again.

I wish Google let me give half stars as the hotel is a soft 3.5 but 3 feels mean. Positives first: Rooms are as pictured, they are clean, bed was firm but comfy, location is hard to beat, restaurant was delicious, high ceilings, shower head was nice, literary value of house! Negatives: My biggest complaint was noise. My room neighbor was watching TV at night and having a normal conversation with her husband. I could hear every word through the walls, they are THIN. My shower quickly turned to a bath as the drain was incredibly slow, and I kept worrying it would over flow. The hallway leading to our room is in desperate need of a coat of paint. The rooms are small, if you bring lots of luggage or more than 2 backpacks you may struggle to maneuver around. None of the websites specify if your room has ocean front view, or partial ocean view, an important distinction in my opinion. We booked The Young King hoping for ocean front view and were given The Sleeping Giant. The sleeping giant has a partial ocean view. Looking back at images I'm uncertain if The Young King would've had ocean front

I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. I didn't have my expectations set too high prior to my visit being that the hotel is situated above a pub and the price is very reasonable, I booked mainly for location initially. We arrived with a very warm welcome at reception, the staff are very accommodating. The room was fantastic, clean, spacious, well decorated. We decided to dine in the Indian restaurant downstairs for dinner and it was delicious, one of the best Indians I have tried. And in the morning had breakfast in the café with a lovely view over bray strand. I'd recommend highly and would be happy to stay again myself.

Location and surroundings are great, but service was slow and disinterested. They were very busy to be fair, and staff were very young. Cocktails weren't great though.

Great place to stay. Small and quirky. Lovely pizza. Staff extremely helpful. View from our double room was just fabulous. We will stay here again

Delicious Beer - Wicklow Wolf Awful White Wine - Muck! Very nice Staff - Top Marks. Awful Audio quality, constantly skipping between Tv's. Very irritating

I had a fantastic stay at The Strand Hotel in Bray. The room was spacious and comfortable. It had a stunning view of the sea and Bray Head. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks at the bar and lounge were delicious and varied. The live music was great and added to the atmosphere. The value for money was excellent. I only had to pay ten euros for parking which covered 24 hours. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing break by the beach.
