Wilton Hotel in Bray

A clean and quiet hotel, unfortunately I didn't tolerate the food well.

We stayed here for one night at the start of a week-long coach tour around Ireland. The reception staff were very welcoming and there was porter service, but because we had arrived later than expected, just before the evening meal, some of us took our own luggage to our rooms. My bedroom on the ground floor was a good size for a single room, fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Nice warm double bed, plenty of wardrobe space, and a decent sized TV screen. The shower over the bath had good water temperature control, and the towels and bedding were spotless. The downstairs rooms are unpretentious but nicely decorated. There's a friendly bar where we could buy reasonably priced drinks. Could certainly not fault the evening meal: the menu offered three choices for each course, and both the presentation and the quality of the food were excellent. My Greek feta salad was very fresh, the chicken in peppercorn sauce was tender, and I had a lovely lemon cheesecake with raspberry coulis for dessert. Breakfast the following morning offered a good choice of cereals, porridge, fruit and a hearty cooked Irish breakfast. We helped ourselves to coffee from a machine. Throughout our short stay, the hotel staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the atmosphere was relaxed and informal. The hotel is a fair distance from Bray's seafront attractions, but that didn't bother us because we were only here for one night. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Friendly service, nice breakfast

Very clean hotel and in a very safe location

I can't say my stay was comfortable because there was a really bed smell of mold and mildue in the hallway and something in the room gave me allergies. The breakfast was ok.

I was staying in the Wilton Hotel Bray for a work trip and I found it to be very amenable. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm, the rooms are perfect for an on-the-go trip and my rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options and starts early compared to other hotels, which is perfect when you are working early. I have to say the dinner was probably my favourite aspect. The prices are insanely reasonable for the portions and the taste is great. Overall very happy with my stays.
