One of the best places in Rush! The food is spectacular, the service from all the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Best of all, they are incredibly welcoming to foreigners! We were visiting as a family, and even though my English isn't the best, they understood me without making me feel uncomfortable. They even gave my little one a box of crayons to play with. If we return to Rush, we will definitely go back to this restaurant.

Visited for some food yesterday - staff are so friendly. Best veggie burger I’ve had in years !! My mum loved her roast dinner. We were allowed to take our wee dog in too. Really nice atmosphere and chats in the bar.

What a lovely place! We had a brilliant time at The Strand Bar & Restaurant in Rush. The food was full of flavour and beautifully presented, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, and the atmosphere was just right. It’s clear a lot of effort goes into making sure customers have a great experience. A great spot for a bite to eat and a few drinks, and somewhere we’d happily return to. Highly recommend!

Harbour Bar

06/10/2026: We visited the Harbour Bar, in Rush for dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. All four of us started with the Seafood Chowder. The chowder is the best I have ever had. Seafood in the chowder is so plentiful that it nearly constitutes a meal in and of itself. Delicious. Two of us followed up the chowder with Corned Beef in Parsley sauce, Csbbage and Mash. Wow. It was very good but also very filling after the Chowder. The others had Mussels, they were also very tasty and Spicy Squid and Onion Rings. We sat in the lounge area and loved the atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Harbour Bar.
21/09/2026: The fish and chips is the friendliest you'll ever find (and there is mushy hidden beneath). And the staff? To die for

Noisette Artisan Bakery

05/09/2026: This is the best thing to happen to Rush since electricity and the potato. Joey
16/08/2026: Coffee is decent, food tastes good but is very sugary.
