The Thatch in Killenard

The duck eggs is unbelievable there..

We had such a lovely time just having a drink and starter at The Thatch that we went back the next day for lunch. Dick and all the staff were friendly and the portions really generous. Dick was so welcoming and we had great gardening chats. Will definitely return

Very expensive for what you got

Okay, so the place has this really weird, funky vibe going on. I wasn't a huge fan of the atmosphere. I ordered a Koppaberg, but the glass was seriously gross. Like, really dirty. The only good thing was the chicken wings - I got like 24 pieces for just 10 euros! That was a total steal. The drinks were also not so heavy on the pocket. Also loved the different types of tables like each table had its own vibe.

Great pub and great food - was in town for EP and everyone was very friendly and courteous!

Bar man wasn't any way friendly or engaging but the waiter was extremely friendly and made up for this. Food was nice , pint was nice , the pub itself is very nice.

Unexpected stop at the Thatch Pub this evening for dinner. Initially greeted with a warm welcome and same friendly service continued with all staff we dealt with until we left. Food was delicious and priced very reasonable. Atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable throughout. Would definitely recommend

Breakfast was lovely. Beautiful surroundings. A must visit.
