Wonderful pub. Good food, warm and cosy

Superb night, Missus said the Fish & Chips were fantastic. I had the Caesar Salad, mountain of chicken and bacon, struggled to finish it, it was superb full of flavour. The Ireland v France game was on, the atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend for both food, atmosphere, beer and the craic.

Huge bar near the wonderful People's Park just on the outskirts of the city.Chess club every Tuesday night,,but it's a nice pub if you'd like a quiet pint or to watch the football..they do food,but I can't comment as I've never eaten here...seems to have standard fare(Soup and sandwiches chicken Kiev's,casserole/stew,fish and chips etc.)Plenty of room and a cosy snug with fire at the front.Has potential to be a great pub.Could do with some live music maybe one or two nights to attract more people,but yep,it's a grand spot...

A great pub, huge on the inside with beautiful atmosphere. Great pints and good food! They had a special for leak and potato soup along with two slices of in house made bread, which was delightful!

If service had an extra star to give, they would have earned 6 stars easy. Hands down one of the nicest places we've visited. Great food, excellent service. Will definitely be back
