The Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre in Waterford

Went with my wife for her birthday, stayed in an apartment, described as suitable for 4, more like 3, on third floor, no lifts. Had booked bar/restaurant at reception for one of our evenings, no booking recorded, bar full, had to go out in rain looking for place to eat

We stayed in the tower hotel for a weekend break The room was top quality, The hotel is in a great location on the quays to stroll around waterford city. Attractions nearby include the medieval museum the vikings tour among others. The pier 37 food was just great waiting staff was awesome and they were very welcoming and attentive throughout the service. Great hotel, will come back.

Room was clean and tidy, decor needed some bits of attention but was largely fresh. Staff friendly, pricing was reasonable and breakfast was good.

I am not one for reviews but I have to put my words of appreciation here I had my daughter's 40th and my other daughter's 37th birthday party in the dunmore room on Saturday 13th of September 2025 and I have to say that I cannot fault this hotel or their staff for the most amazing night . The staff went up and beyond themselves to make sure myself and my quests were well looked after and even joined in with a few dance moves which was absolutely brilliant. I personally highly recommend this place for functions i really do . I cannot wait to have my own big 60 here in march of 2026

Tower hotel is the perfect place to stay in Waterford.

Very helpful, accommodating and genuinely friendly staff

The greeting we got from the girl on front desk wasn’t exactly welcoming and a little bit rude - I didn’t catch her name. Then the cocktails at lunch were soooo bad I sent them both back. Really disappointing! What I will say though was it was good location, nice view of the city and our room was a great size and reasonably priced.

An overall nice hotel, nothing much to complain about, very clean and a nice view of the main road and river. The best part about it is the location, very, very central. Just across the road you find multiple museums and restaurants. I would say however that the showers wouldn't be hurt by being refitted, very odd that it isn't possible to control the water's pressure.

Excellent friendly staff who enjoyed a joke.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for our anniversary. The room was comfortable, spacious and faced the river. The standard of service from all at the hotel was great. The breakfast was probably the best ive had at a hotel. Overall its as good value as you could get in the country.
