Marvelous! It is a very small but great organized restaurant. Very friendly staff. The waitresses made a great effort to explain all the dishes and give many details. Spectacular food, the best we ate in Dublin. First we had a very delicious goat cheese tartlet. For the main course, a dish that is for two that was a kind of “sea and mountain”: mussels and clams with a base of shrimp with a slightly spicy touch (just right). On top there was a huge sirloin cooked on the grill with several prawns also on the grill. It also included some roast potatoes and a beet salad. Spectacular!!! We would return without a doubt!

Lovely cosy, little place with a great vibe, really friendly and welcoming staff and fantastic food. The starters were great and we both had the duck, which was unbelievable. The staff were so friendly, all round made for a really great evening!

We are always happy when we are in this most amazing little restaurant. The is food is probably the best I've had in Dublin, if your are looking for a grest atmosphere and amazing food the Vintage kitchen is the place for you.

Will third time lucky be better?
I visited 5/10/24 table for 7 with a group of friends. The menu was excellent, staff were cheery, food was excellent and good value.
I visited again yesterday and it was just okay. There wasn’t the same warm vibe, service was slower (e.g. long wait for our bottle of wine), there was a more limited menu choice/ fewer specials.
I had the pork in Oct and it was amazing so I ordered the same - this time there was grease in the gravy, the cut was poor and it was very very fatty hardly any meat. Last time there was a side dish of boxty potatoes but not this time just three mushrooms which tasted deep fried. I am adding photos of the original dish which was amazing and yesterday’s which was sickening. To be fair the waitress took €4 off the bill when I showed her the cut was mainly fat. Was that enough to make up for a miserable main course though? I’m not sure. A substitution would have been better as dishes on other people’s tables looked good (burrata, chowder, fish pie and sea bass in particular).
I’ll go again and give them another chance as this spot has the shabby chique decor and could be such a winner with consistently good food. I’ll steer clear of the pork next time.

Heel leuk gezellig restaurant. Heerlijke gerechten perfect van smaak en cuisine. Mooie wijnen, iets te duur voor dit soort zaken. Al met al een aanrader waard!
