The Wagon Tavern in Fermoy

Locals pub with Tom Aherne as the proprietor - smashing pint of Guinness - best I have had in a long while - Top Class !!

Technically I cannot rate the food BUT - we arrived late (kitchen had closed) and we were weary hungry travelers passing thru to Cork. The manager suggested we get take away from the chippie next door and bring it back to enjoy at the tavern. We did and he poured us a few perfect pints of Guinness to accompany our meal. The crowd and atmosphere was perfect and we felt very much welcome and at home. Thank you ! Next time we will get in on time for supper!
