The Waterfront Bar & Grill + Carvery in Bundoran

I recently visited Molloys Bar & Grill for dinner with my family. The food was good, but the service was very slow. We had to wait over an 45 minutes for our meals to arrive. The smell from the gents toilet was also very strong, which made our dining experience unpleasant. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Molloys Bar & Grill.

Wheww chile, the customer service was a 10/10. As soon as i came in to the station area i was greeted by Laura and she was so kind to me and my family came later and the service was so great by Laura and the manager. They paid attention to detail, i had flowers and they came with a jar of water to place the flowers without me saying anything, they told us the best location for pictures without us asking, they gave us candles and a lighter for our cake while we were discussing within ourselves, they were just so good. The customer service encouraged us to definitely come again. The food was good too. 10/10 customer service, well done at the station guys.

Been coming to molloys for many years, can never once fault bar or floor staff. Management have always been great from fran, darren down to Alvin & Niall. Nothing is ever too much amd they always accomadate customers both new and old. Small improvements over the years have made a difference but now it may be time to focus on upgrades for 2025. Over the last year its noticeable that the toilets are seriously in need of some tlc. Last few weeks alone ladies are leaking and spilling out over the floors, serious h&s issue with floors soaking, smell from drains in front bar have been a huge ongoing issue. 2025 should be a year for improvements on what they have to keep it the great place that it is

Food was nice but nothing special. Atmosphere was good. Biggest problem here was service, waited over 30 minutes after being seated no one took a food or drink order. We had ask for someone to help us. Eventually drinks and food was ordered but then a long wait till the food came out. No one again taking drinks orders. Food came out was warm and ok for the price. When food was finished again another long wait for the table to be cleared. A further 30-40 minutes before dessert came out. There are many other restaurants in the area that I will go to before I go back here.

Nice place, very nice pints, food was delicious, it was busy but cosy

Sorry to say we had carvery it was cold we got it re heated but it was not nice. My husbands could not cut his lamb very disappointed
