Breakfast was amazing. But there is a long wait, well worth it though. Staff really tried and very pleasant

Went here for the 1st time and can’t say I’ll be back. The pub itself is cosy and feels like a real Irish pub with a bit of a modern update. The prices were fair and the food was nice but the service wasn’t the best. The staff were friendly but not on the ball at all. The food took about an hour to come out including a baby bowl. It wasn’t even busy so we weren’t expecting to be waiting that long. Then the waitress forgot to bring fries. As soon as the food was dropped off at our table she ran off. Normally the staff ask is there anything else but this wasn’t asked. I tried asking one of the waiters for the fries but after calling him 3 times he just walked straight past me. Didn’t bother asking again. Based on service alone I won’t be back and family I was with said the same.

Have gone to this pub over the years for drinks and food. Picked here for lunch. A friendly waitress seated us and took our drinks order. A comprehensive menu to peruse. We decided on "supreme chicken" and "roast beef" My wife loved the chicken dish. I am not a tomato fan and for me I didn't like the tomato sauce accompanying the dish. I had the beef. It was a large dish of food which suited me as I was hungry. Mashed potatoes were nice. The roast potatoes were done in a deep fryer, some were al dente in the middle. Two big slices of beef which was slightly tough. The Yorkshire pudding came on the bottom of the dish under all the food like a pancake which got soggy in the middle. Overall the dishes were lovely presented. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely come back to try other dishes. Have to say the pint of guinness was very good.

Breakfast on Christmas Eve. Good food and service. Booking needed. Veg Irish Breakfast is good value with double portions of eggs, toast, and tomatoes to compensate, which I can appreciate.

Best fish & chips I ever had. Light tin coat with big tasty cod inside. Couldn't take a photo as it was too late 😅

Absolutely an amazing place with an amazing heartfelt customer service. Such a lovely and friendly team especially Rory behind the bar!
