An unlikely roadside café-restaurant with a small garden where you'll probably enjoy the best scones on the peninsula.
Open Friday to Monday, everything's cool here.
A small cafe at the side of the road, easy to find. Spotlessly clean vintage pub now serving food. Outside seating was lovely and quiet, with very little traffic on the road. There is no ocean view, but a pleasant planted area instead. The staff are friendly and their cake is very good. A water bowl was provided for dogs.
The best blueberry scones we've ever tasted, served with raspberry jam and fresh cream to go with great coffee. Fantadtic value fir money. Beautiful cafe, unique decor and artwork.
Fabulous café full of character. Food was delicious with tasty salad and gu bins accompanying the toasted sarnie. Hard to make it better. Great service, value and vibes
:)
Great coffee, baked treats and a particularly wonderful Spanish Tortilla. The service was great and the atmosphere very chill and artsy. Highly recommend if you are on the Sheep’s Head Peninsula!
19/08/2025: We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of Irish meadows. The coffee was very, very good from a portafilter machine. They even had oat milk for the cappuccino or café latte. Really good! We also had warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream – absolutely delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time, thank you :)
08/08/2025: Very good food in this restaurant, with a varied menu and generous portions.
Evening prices are much more expensive; take into account €45 to €53 excluding wine.
Impeccable service and friendly staff.
