This is a tourist spot. You can see why, it's right next to the bridge. However, the food is really mediocre and definitely caters to the American palate - it's really sweet. The service was genuinely excellent - lovely friendly staff. But, sadly, I wouldn't return or recommend it.

Lovely place. Knew about this place quite a long time ago, just never had a chance to come, dine and just experience it. Atmosphere is great if you love a bit of a buzz since theres a flow of people constantly crossing a bridge. Nice place to dine especially when its sunny. We had steaks and it was 8/10 honestly. Great service, helpfull staff and a few drinks always fixes anything.

We ate there twice, and the second time was because of the excellent service we received the first time. Keep in mind that Wud charges a 10% service fee. The burger and nachos were very good. Some of the waiters speak Spanish.

Came in from a long cold rainy day out in the countryside and had the coziest yummy meal- all three of us had the burger, and they were delicious! Everything served around us looked amazing too! Service was super friendly, and the music was so fun! Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic! We walked in during peak hours without a reservation, weren't hesitated for long, and got a table right away. We ordered fish and chips and were completely satisfied – delicious! 😋 We'd go back anytime and were really surprised how inexpensive it was in the end! 🤩

Nice for weekend brunch. Not nice for weekday lunch. Pork belly hash was incredibly dry, inedible.

We stumbled into The Woollen Mills after a delay in our plans, and it turned out to be a fantastic surprise. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to help us with suggestions. I’m vegetarian, and the veggie options were delicious. They even recommended some non veg dishes that my friend loved. I can’t recommend this place enough great food and top notch service.

Brady's

07/05/2026: A lovely layout with a well equipped beer garden, which included tv. This was very welcome for the large groups of Man Utd & some Liverpool fans. The food was delicious and the Guinness was 👍 Staff were efficient & friendly.
22/04/2026: My children and I enjoyed our dining experiences at Brady's while visiting Ireland on our Easter/Spring Break. We loved the mild wings and the soups of the day were amazing as well. Ate there pretty often so won't itemize all the meals we had but overall the food was tasty, the service pleasant, and the atmosphere aligned well with the feel of an irish pub as we imagined it.

Tolka House

16/05/2026: Lucy and kitty made the first experience amazing experts in whiskey would highly Recommend here without a doubt
07/05/2026: We popped in for dinner and a pint. The decor, vibe, ambiance, and feel do not match the food or service. I ordered the "pie of the day" (chicken and bacon with a side of mashed potatoes and roasted veg) and my husband the burger. At €20 a plate I was expecting something other than what appeared to be boiled and thickly cut chicken breast with a few bit of bacon in an overly salted cream sauce along with run of the mill mashed potatoes with small chunks of veg that were pan fried. It almost smacked of what you could get as a pre-made meal at Tesco. The burger was equally disappointing. Dry, overcooked (was never asked how it should be prepared), and the toppings were underwhelming. The chips that came with the burger were OK, but unremarkable and should have been cooked for at least another minute or two to crisp up the outside. When I say the vibe didn't match the service, it boils down, quite a bit, to the service. The bartender would frequently mess with his hair showing his midriff. If you're going to present your establishment as a "cut above", I would expect a bit of decorum with proper attire. Our server (I didn't catch her name) had the personality of a rock and was cold (never mean, but definitely has the feeling she didn't really want to be there). Maybe it's because it's the "low season" being early May, but come on! For €52 for 2 meals and 2 pints, surely you can do better. Also, what is up with the weird thumping noise that was vibrating the ceiling lights? Super annoying.
