The Woollen Mills in Dublin

We ate there tonight. The food was very good with generous portions, but the atmosphere was extremely noisy. The service was adequate, nothing more. It felt like everyone was in a hurry and that we weren't expected to linger. We were also unpleasantly surprised by the 10% service charge added to the bill.

I liked it! My first beer upon arriving in Dublin! And the fish and chips were delicious! I recommend it!

Great spot with a great location in the heart of Dublin. I had a delicious sweet potato main course and the desert was superb. Reliable spot in the heart of the city, really recommend !

My husband and I got the wings and burger- it was all amazing. We chose this place as a last second birthday dinner for myself and Chris and Laura took amazing care of us. Laura got us everything we needed/requested, the kitchen and bar were quick, and Chris helped to make my birthday extra special after our meal. They deserve a raise! Will 1000% be recommending to friends and family.

Our group of four instantly got a table upon arrival, without reservation. The interior was cozy and the service was friendly and quick! And then the food :) Prices here are average, but the portions are MASSIVE! (And delicious of course :P) Awesome restaurant, if I'm ever in Dublin again I'll definitely come back to check out the dinner menu!

We had our wedding at the Woollen Mills this July. From start to finish, Jitka and her team made our day seamless. No task was too big - we dropped in decorations the day before which Jitka set up for us. On the day of the wedding - the service was 10/10. We were able to have an intimate ceremony in the Joyce room and dinner in the river run room. Between courses, the area was completely privatised, with our server popping in to attend to us with a smile. The food was amazing, they catered to all dietary needs and requirements. It was exactly everything we had hoped for and more. Thank you Jitka and team for a perfect day.

Ideal for a quick bite if you're downtown. Well located and central, with good service and fast service. As a tip, and to keep the bill down, we ordered the house water, which is customary and they don't mind you asking for it. The food was varied and delicious.

The lady who greeted us was a little gruff, but the waiter was very nice and kind. The food was good. We had a goat cheese salad (9/10), a French beef sandwich (7/10), a salmon sandwich (8/10), and a kids' burger (10/10) (my son said it was the best he's ever eaten!). It's a shame about the tables, which were really sticky. It would have been helpful if vegetarian options were highlighted on the menu.
