Friendly staff, great food and perfect location to people watch

We had the soup of the day with super well-filled sandwiches and both were delicious. Price performance really great.

Not really impressed with this place, they were very much on top of each other and forgot part of our order. I ordered a chai latte but it wasn't very warm and it was very gritty. The outside could do with a freshen up aswell or at least a good brush down 😕

We had the pleasure of Emma's services at The Yard Café, where we enjoyed the quiche and one of the specials of the day - both of them fantastic. They don't serve alcohol at the cafe but we were allowed to bring it from the bar across the street. Emma is a character and seeing her present today's specials only increased the pleasure of the meal.

I like the food here. They have good coffee. They are dog friendly in the seating area outside. Staff are polite, particularly Emma.

I had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, I had a chicken Caesar wrap and a carrot cake, but what really made the experience great was the nice, kind and motivated service. I can definitely recommend this to others.

We had a wonderful time at The Yard Café. Despite the store being full, the exceptionally friendly service staff took the time to have a quick chat with us. The food and coffee were also fantastic and reasonably priced. We would love to come back on our next visit to Kilkenny!

Cute little cozy cafe. We had their pesto chicken panini and smashed avocado with eggs, hot chocolate and mocha — love their pesto chicken sandwich and drinks. smashed avocado needed more salt/lime and the sourdough was not the best. Loved their sides, the chickpea, couscous, salad and coleslaw were all fresh and tasty Service was very quick and friendly. Recommended
