The best restaurants in Thomastown

20/07/2026: Was really looking forward to trying the pizzas (back of the restaurant) but unfortunately, after paying over 50 euro for 3 pizzas, we got home to find the bases disgustingly black and burnt. Wood fire pizzas are expected to have some charcoal dust from the oven but you couldn't dust this off. It was completely burnt from not being turned properly - that or the oven is just filthy. Cheese on top wasnt even melted, so burnt base and undercooked toppings. Something is really wrong. So expensive and even more disappointing.

10/08/2026: Absolutely unforgettable! I ordered these beautiful mini tartlets from Lekker for our celebration and honestly, they looked like little pieces of art. Every single one was so beautifully made that I almost didn’t want anyone to touch them! But somehow, they tasted even better than they looked. The flavours were incredible -blackcurrant with mint, rhubarb with whipped cream, rich melted chocolate with raspberries… every combination was delicate, creative and absolutely delicious. These are the kind of flavours you remember long after the last bite. If you want to surprise your guests, give someone a truly special gift, or simply treat your family to something extraordinary, you absolutely have to try them. Thank you so much, Julian, for creating these little masterpieces for us. You made our celebration even more special, and I’m already looking forward to having an excuse to order another box! ❤️ Beautiful to look at, unforgettable to taste.

28/07/2026: Lovely fresh food, friendly staff and a interesting atmosphere. Lovely breads and pastries available also. I would highly recommend.

31/07/2026: Very cute Cafe with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Scones and coffee were lovely and would happily drop in next time we're passing through.

19/03/2026: Visited The BlackBerry cafe in Thomastown with my 91 year old Ma, who was born in Thomastown. Ma had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, my wife had the sausage roll with chutney and I had a cheese salad sandwich with organic vegetable soup. We all had tea to drink. The food and drink were served to the table quickly. All the food was well presented and tasted great. The staff were friendly and efficient. Great spot for a quick lunch. I thought that our lunch was good value for money.
