We just walked in not really knowing what to expect. Paul behind the bar was immediately welcoming. A Guinness was ordered with a whiskey chaser and so the evening continued. We were grateful for Paul's knowledge and advice. The music which started later was to the highest standard. If you visit Sligo. This bar is a must do.

07/06/2025: The steak salad was the best I’ve had in a long time - Mizuna/mustard greens with steak, pickled ginger, and peanuts in a spicy dressing. My husband’s lamb stew looked fresh, meat was good. So happy to find a salad in Ireland that wasn’t just a few pieces of cos/romaine with a salty dressing. If I were staying longer in Sligo I would go back again.
04/06/2025: Great atmosphere in the heart of Sligo with fabulous service and food. Try the burgers - you won’t be disappointed!

19/05/2025: The traditional session on Sunday evening is fantastic. The fish and chips are excellent. The restrooms are very clean, and the staff are super friendly.
