Tierney's Costcutter in Ennis

A lovely little bakery and grocery shop with a great selection of fresh pastries, sandwiches, cakes, muffins, cupcakes and even shepherd’s pie. Honestly, it’s hard to walk in without buying something! The baked goods look so tempting and really catch your attention. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We tried the tuna sandwich, shepherd’s pie, a grain loaf, toast and a croissant. Everything was nice, and it’s definitely a good place to stop by if you’re in the area.

Parking is its biggest difficulty although the locals seem to cope well. Large estate behind and to both sides of the shop obviously help the throughput of food as everything always seems so fresh. High praise for their pizzas, potato salad and coleslaw as well as their other in store baked produce. Staff always seem on their A game and experienced too... very helpful.
