Appears to be run by a husband and wife team. He bartends and serves food. She cooks. There are funny little signs on the wall that will give you a good chuckle.
Outstanding warm welcome as always in this unique gem of an old style Irish pub, amazing Beamish Stout and wonderful food,an experience you'll never forget.
4 choices in town and we're glad we chose this one. Small pub with good food and friendly service. Highlights include the seafood chowder, smoked salmon sandwich, fries and salad. Opens at 12:30. A perfect place to stop for a bite or drink. Plenty of parking 100 yards up the road. A small, pretty church across the road.
What a fun night with some of the best pints we had in Ireland. The owners are super friendly and we had quite a ball with the locals from the village! Hopefully be back soon :)
My wife and myself visited here with friends who live locally. We did not have anything to eat. Just a few drinks. However, I think the place deserves mention. It is a charming pub with a very pleasant staff / owner’s son and a very warm and welcoming local clientele. We very much enjoyed our three evenings here and recommend it to anybody looking for a decent Irish pub.
