Tig Coili in Galway

We absolutely loved Tig Coili! Wonderful bartenders, warm, friendly atmosphere, excellent traditional music, and incredibly patrons who turned quickly into friends. I loved seeing Liam Clancy’s photo on the wall, with the pub owner. Best of all was when one of the musicians sang a cappella a beautiful ballad, and the whole boisterous pub went silent and listened w rapt attention and awe. Gave me goose bumps. We went back again twice. Can hardly wait to return.

Daily visit to here is essential.🍻 No loothremauns here at all!

Nice pub, great live music. Large Guinness and small Heineken are €10, so reasonable. Great atmosphere!

The best place to watch trad Irish music in Galway, small, intimate. A great place to dance along with the rest of the crowd

Good time, good live traditional music (non-amplified when I was there), fun place. A solid 30%-50% of the interesting people we met in Western Ireland were in this pub. I particularly enjoyed the band leader sharply ordering people to shut up so they could play a serious, quiet song - and everyone did - which means a low % of knuckleheads (at least that night) - which is appreciated. I think I just drank several pints of Guinness and never ate, so I don’t know if they have cocktails or food.

A historic venue in the centre of Galway, great beer, great atmosphere and great live music. The staff are super friendly and helpful. A truly fantastic atmosphere and venue.

A great Irish pub. Lovely Guinness and great friendly service. Lots of breweriana to look at..Highly recommend a visit here. Buskers in the street also to enjoy.

Great atmosphere, live music, very friendly staff, I recommend it for a good time.

Decent but the worst service we had in Galway. They allowed dogs which is the only reason this wasn’t a 1 star. There was only one bartender and she just straight up forgot our order. I get it happens but we had to remind her about 10 minutes later and there was no apology or acknowledgement. Go elsewhere
