Such a lovely place with a really nice atmosphere. Warm, welcoming, and relaxing — it makes you want to stay longer. The vibe alone makes it worth coming back. Highly recommended!

A haven of Irish tradition. Like home and very family-friendly.

This pub an amazing place to listen to trad music. They have 2 sessions every night (6 and 9:30 pm). Watching this tradition is an amazing as there are musicians that simply join in when they arrive. We watched a young man stop in with his drum and join up for the first time. He was traveling for work and just liked to join in a session when he can. Everyone was so welcoming to him. The pub itself is full of incredible character and cozy places to sit. Highly recommend.

Hier bekommt man das, was man in einer Bar in Irland erwartet: Livemusik, ausgelassene Stimmung, alte gesprächige Männer an der Bar und köstliches Guinness.

The musicians are brilliant. I was there Sunday and Monday. A higher class of traditional music. Pure trad only, the real thing (not a session for beginners to join in, rather listen and record). What a jewel. Go to listen not talk.

Nice experiment and friendly people

Tig Coilli is arguably Galway's most famous pub. Day or night, it's always packed and incredibly lively. The music is traditional and virtuoso. The locals are incredibly friendly and always up for a chat. The staff is professional, no matter how busy it is, they work tirelessly to get everyone their drink. Highly recommended!
