Music and atmosphere was great.

Did not eat here. Whet to listen to a live music session. Customers shouting over the traditional playing so just a noisy experience.

They don't allow dogs inside, which is a bit limiting, but the place is super

Has to be one of the best traditional music pubs in Galway. Definitely my favourite anyway. Great trad sessions( twice daily in Summer) not sure about rest of year. The best of music. Great pint of Guinness ( my husband says). Staff are very nice and friendly. Definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to go back.

Great pub. Great atmosphere and camaraderie. Definitely think Murphy's is better than Guinness.

Authentic place with good music!

This is an incredibly popular traditional Irish pub right in the heart of the action. Every day, live Irish music fills the place, keeping everyone entertained while they enjoy their drinks. The space is pretty small—finding a seat can be tricky—but the atmosphere is so contagious that the moment I sat down, I totally understood what it means to just enjoy yourself. Sitting at the bar, I could see how busy the bartenders were—hats off to them, they were working so hard!

Iconic place full of details, you can listen to live music and breathe a beautiful Irish spirit. Recommended

Packed on a Sunday night when we visited , trad group playing , luckily got a seat. Nice older crowd.

We were disappointed with the visit to hear traditional music. We went at 9:30 pm. The pub was packed with people making so much noise that we couldn't hear the music.
