Had a lunchtime drink and decided to come back for dinner. The food was really good, but the poor waitress was working alone with an awful lot of customers.
Nice little pub in a rural area. It is in an Irish Speaking (Gaeltacht) region so many of the locals and staff are speaking Irish. Food portions were too small and way overpriced. Menu choices were very few. Staff were very nice
A small restaurant located by the sea where you can eat even in the middle of the afternoon unlike in towns…
The fruit tagliatelle dish is excellent, I recommend it!
Stopped by here for a few drinks with friends. The bar is very functional and lacks any real charm/ atmosphere. That said, the staff were very friendly in a genuine way abd made us feel very welcome. I really cannot fault our visit apart from two little niggles.
1.) There was no soap in the dispenser in the men’s toilet.
2.). It was a day of broken sunshine and heavy showers. As a group we had a strong preference for sitting outside between the showers. Unfortunately, the staff saw no need to dry the outside seating after a shower or to even offer towels to clients so that they could dry the seats themselves.
It seems a very small point but the harsh reality is that few tourists visit the pub to view its very uninteresting interior. A visit is all about the experience and the view.
Sadly, the owners/ staff seem to think that the outdoor area deserves only their neglect. What a pity.
