Proper local bar, the sort of place that died out in the UK in the 1980s. The din from endless conversations was like an old friend, the Guinness was superb, the service and the locals were friendly and welcoming. Go there, go there now 🇮🇪

Tertulia Bookshop

21/07/2025: Lovely welcome, very happy for us to look around at the Harry Potter memorabilia. You can get a coffee and sit for a while to soak up the atmosphere.
19/07/2025: I was looking for a book as a gift that would suit a very particular individual. I called on the off chance that they could recommend something and the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. They were able to recommend what looks to be the perfect book for the person it is for, not only that but are sending it out asap so we can hopefully hit a birthday deadline. Really excellent service and would thoroughly recommend!

Olde Bridge Restaurant

17/08/2025: We (couple) were looking for somewhere nice after doing a long cycle on the greenway. Of all the choices on the Main Street we stopped off in Olde Bridge. It was beautiful. Cosy setting, great service and really tasty food. We had a lovely evening.
20/07/2025: Always a great curry. A young lad works there who has excellent customer service skills and is always so helpful. Prices are on the upper side for a curry.
