Always amazing when somewhere lives up to it's reputation. Great staff, amazing lobster with some of the best potatos and local beer. Definitely will be back when in the area.

Excellent fish and chips with the right amount of breading. Mushroom soup was very tasty and my friend had the seafood chowder and it was filled with various chunks of fish. He loved it. It’s a short walk up the hill to Charles Fort which you can do if you need to wait for a table. It’s cozy seating but 6 of had enough room. Had a great time there.

Such a wonderful, cozy spot in Kinsale. We made reservations for dining in advance of our stay, and we were absolutely thrilled with the food and ambience. The octopus carpaccio was one of the more memorable dishes I’ve had recently. While all the food was fantastic, the crème brûlée was particularly delicious as well. The gentleman at the table next to us raved that the steak was one of the best he had ever eaten. We liked The Bulman so much that we stopped back the next day for pints downstairs; my partner wanted to go back to dine again, and we only opted not to as we wanted to try other local restaurants. Definitely recommend as this meal surpassed some of the others we had in Kinsale.
