Nice little bar for a quick drink

Simple, no-fuss bar with great craic and service. The owner is an awesome storyteller. Be sure to ask her about the bar’s history.

I enjoyed a great pint of draught Beamish while sat outside watching the world go by. The bar is quite snall but there's a small rear seating area & patio too with toilets. There's some nice historic memorabilia on display.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tomas Maher’s Bar – A Whiskey Lover’s Hidden Gem! If you're a whiskey lover, Tomas Maher’s is an absolute must in Waterford! I discovered a delicious local Irish whiskey here – sweet, smooth, and beautifully mixed in-house. I was actually coughing that day, and after a few sips... I felt so much better! 😂 It was that good. I ended up buying the bottle! The atmosphere is warm, local, and full of character – a true Irish pub experience without the touristy feel. The staff know their stuff and are happy to recommend something special (like that amazing whiskey!). It’s the kind of place where you come in for one drink and leave with a story... and maybe a bottle. 🥃 It's definitely one of my favourite stops in Waterford.
