13/10/2025: I can’t thank the team at Il Vicolo enough for making my proposal night so special. From the first email I sent to plan the engagement, Reena and Eleonora were incredible—so friendly, organised and thoughtful alongside with the other staff working on the night who set up a beautiful private spot on the outdoor terrace after our meal so I could propose to my partner, and made the whole evening feel effortless and one we will never forget. The entire staff were just amazing as well: attentive, friendly, informative and really went above and beyond for not only us but all the customers whilst I was there. The food was outstanding—authentic Italian flavours, perfectly cooked pasta, amazing wines and beers—and every detail felt crafted with care. Il Vicolo will always hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re looking for incredible italian food in Galway, warm service, and a team who truly go above and beyond this is a must and we cannot wait to come back! I cannot thank you guys enough!
