TP Cotter in Macroom

Passing from Cork to Killarney, we stopped for lunch in this restaurant. We were made very welcome. The meal was good and the price affordable. I recommend this place.

I can’t say enough about Cotters. After sitting down and taking in the atmosphere, I realized I didn’t want to leave. I ordered the sliced steak and asked to substitute vegetables for the fries, which they happily accommodated. The meal was absolutely delicious, and the gravy—well, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We finished with an Irish Coffee, and it was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back before I leave town. The staff were fantastic—constantly on the move, attending to every customer, and going above and beyond. The interior is beautiful, and I loved the fireplace.
