I went here for my staff christmas party, and it lived up to the hype. i had the scallops, chicken supreme and orange/chocolate torte. The staff were amazing, very attentive but also relaxed. We all really enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing place. The staff are fantastic - waiters trained impeccably, atmosphere fabulous and the food was the best I have had in years. Robbie front of house - made such a fuss of my elderly Mother it made her Christmas. Thank you for a fantastic evening - will definitely be back. Don't wait - you will not be disappointed.

Medallions of beef are not the same as fillet of beef. You should either update the menu description or review what the chef is serving. Misleading customers is unacceptable and could fall under issues the EHO should examine. If the description isn’t accurate for the beef, it raises concerns about whether the meat is even Irish.

Occasional visitors to The Troc but as always everyone is made feel like regulars. Bar is set impeccably high with the food and especially the service. We were looked after exceptionally well by Tom who's service elevated an already fabulous evening.

20/01/2026: Went in for a set menu with my partner. We had cod croquettes and French onion soup for starters, as for mains we got the cod and the chicken, and creme brule for dessert. As for the starters they were very good. The croquettes had a delicious sauce alongside them and the soup was full of flavour. Just be aware that it has cheese that sticks to the spoon. The chicken main was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. Loved that the chicken was very juicy. The cod was also very well cooked and tasted amazing. The creme brule was tasty but it was cold. I personally prefer mine to be warmer. Overall it was an amazing meal and experience. Well worth it.
