Stopped in for a quick lunch & the staff were so lovely, got us a table quick & took our order quickly. The food is lovely and big portions. Didn’t feel rushed to finish, were checked on to see was everything alright. Nice, clean place as well. Couldn’t fault it!

Such a lovely stop on our way to Galway. We were visiting from the states. Service and food were both brilliant. We will definitely be back on our next visit!

Went for breakfast with a friend recently to Savoury Fare and couldn’t recommend it more. Both of us had the French toast with buttermilk chicken and were very happy with our decision. The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick. Already looking forward to the next visit.

Finally a cafe/eatery in Moate worth chatting about! Newly renovated, clean and bright. A lovely experience while dining here, food is fabulous. . Staff are pleasant and very accommodating. Highly recommend 👌 👍

21/09/2025: Great service. Hardly needed to stand up.
12/07/2025: I was visiting Ireland and staying in Moate whilst recerching my ancestry. I came across P Eagans bar whilst out with my dog. Paul and his staff welcomed me with such warmth and dedication. I have no reservations on recommendations for this wonderful traditional Irish pub. Thankyou Paul & staff for making my stay and very rememberable. Paul & Annie.
