We stumbled upon this place by accident and WOW, their scones were delicious! Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, our food was ready pretty fast and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend for a nice breakfast.

12/07/2025: I was visiting Ireland and staying in Moate whilst recerching my ancestry. I came across P Eagans bar whilst out with my dog. Paul and his staff welcomed me with such warmth and dedication. I have no reservations on recommendations for this wonderful traditional Irish pub. Thankyou Paul & staff for making my stay and very rememberable. Paul & Annie.
