We visited for the festive afternoon tea. When I asked about the price by email, I was told it was €44 with prosecco included. They served mulled wine with the afternoon tea, and we were told it was included in the price. However, at the restaurant we were charged extra for the prosecco, and the festive afternoon tea itself was €45. I had to ask for a new glass because the first one had lipstick on it. The quality of the food was fine and the tea was okay. The service was excellent—staff were attentive and very helpful. However, the experience didn’t feel very festive. Aside from a large Christmas tree in the room, there wasn’t much decoration. The setup also didn’t match the festive presentation shown on their Instagram, which was disappointing

We had a stunning three course meal at The Pippin Tree, as part of our overnight package Killashee. The service was excellent, food was delicious and wine was gorgeous. Would highly recommend.
