Umbrella Asian Tapas in Galway

Very cute, tiny reataraunt with delicious food! We had the pork dumplins and butterfly shrimp to start and both were great. Then we had the Bangkok curry with duck and pad Thai with duck. The duck was tender and juicy, not dried out, the seasoning was wonderful. The host was very helpful and attentive even with a larger group getting ready to leave when we came in. Would absolutely come back!

Really lovely atmosphere, staff are amazing and so friendly. If it's your birthday the entire place will be singing for you. The food is so affordable and portions are big and food tastes so fresh and hot. I've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. 11/10

i asked for food recommendations from the staff and i tried the beef wok noodles with sichuan spicy sauce. it reminds me of the traditional asian food in my hometown. it tastes so good that definitely worths a revisit. the staff is super nice and friendly as well, together with the cute interior design of the restaurant, i would say it’s the best asian restaurant in galway!

Asian restaurant in the center of Galway that I recommend visiting. From the beginning everything was great, the welcome was very pleasant. We ordered some duck rolls, the Szechuan wok and a Pad Thai. Everything on point. In addition to drinking, they have several Asian beers, we chose Kirin. To finish, they gave us some fortune cookies. We will surely repeat!

Brilliant service and meal, thoughtful and attentive! Food was incredible and flavoursome, great service from all staff throughout. Fantastic evening would highly recommend the pad Thai and massaman curry both absolutely divine!!

Lovely place, lovely food & really friendly staff

As an Asian, this is the first time a Taiwanese friend recommended me to come here for lunch. Every dish has 100% Asian flavor. It is worth recommending.

We absolutely loved it here, wish there was another branch of it at home! Probably our favourite meal during our stay in Galway. We got quite a good variety of tapas and every one of them was delicious. Decor was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly. Prices were very reasonable. If in Galway again, we will definitely return.

I've eaten in Umbrella several times this year, and each time the food was delicious - freshly made and served fast. The staff are easy going and very friendly and will recommend other things to do and see in Galway. I've seen a lot of regulars coming back again and again so you know it's good.
