Unicorn Bar in Limerick

Great selection and excellent service. The building's exterior and interior are beautiful, with a lovely fireplace and a really nice outdoor section.

Would recommend the Unicorn and the staff were very helpful and friendly service.

Great place to eat. Lots of options for vegetarians, pescatarians and your meat eaters. The service is exceptional, they were kind enough to help us celebrate our daughters birthday. Definitely recommend!

Lovely food with smiling friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely atmosphere cosy and the place looked great. TV's up for the rugby. Couldn't ask for more for a place to eat of a Saturday afternoon.

Went in there with family for lunch. The staff were friendly esp Elmie and Don , service was excellent. Food was great, carvery was available but we chose Al a carte ,ordered fish and chips , pizza, loaded fries etc, all were decent..🙂

We like this place. Service can be hit and miss at times, sometimes it's seamless, others it's very awkward but there are often new faces in the staff when we visit so it may be turnover/training. Examples of when the service wasnt great: On one occasion a piece of porcelain was found in my sisters fajitas and on another I was given a glass with lipstick which my 10 month old put their mouth on. We did receive an apology when these issues were highlighted. We also find smaller groups are preferred. We have rang and asked if availability was there for say 6 people to be told no but when we arrived the place was practically empty and all of us could be seated and served no proble. This has happened a few times. However most of the time the service is good. Food options are good although vegetarian options could improve. There is a nice buffet and breakfast spread here also. A little on the pricey side for some dishes. The staff, especially the long term senior staff are always polite and friendly and on top form. The upstairs venue is spacious and accommodates quite a large number although it is not wheelchair accessible to my knowledge. There is an issue with drinks orders whereby some drinks ordered upstairs need to be poured downstairs and brought up and if I recall correctly a service charge was applied for this. Upstairs rental is very affordable for events and you have freedom to decorate it yourself to suit your needs/the theme. Live music events such as ABBA and Elvis are great, would be fantastic to see more of these. You can usually opt in for food and the show or just the show which is great. Overall I would recommend this place to people.

Great service and amazing food defo have to give the wings and loaded fries a try to anyone that’s looking to try their food !
