The Unicorn is our go to restaurant whenever we visit The Crescent Shopping Centre. And we always enjoy it. However, I was slightly disappointed on our most recent visit. The ham in the vol au vant was kinda tough (so I wonder can you get it without the ham). We asked for a jug of orange cordial with our meal. But I learnt my lesson and won't ever be ordering cordial again. I was charged €4 for the cordial. I repeat, €4. That actually shocked me. You could buy 2 bottles of cordial in the shop for that price. And we weren't made aware of the charge when ordering it. Whilst we were there, a stir fry dish came out for other customers and I will say that looked really good so I will try that on our next visit (minus the cordial).

Been here several times and never fails lovely dinners and desserts great staff too.

Only dropped in for a pint waiting for a friend. Can't comment on the food. The toilets and bar were spotless. The staff were excellent and the pint and coffee were very good.

Absolutely beautiful food! I've been coming to The Unicorn for the last 6 years and my husband for the last 20 years and the food and service is always remarkable. To many more years to come!

Had the €10 lunch today around 1.00pm with my wife and my mother. It was very good value and good food while the staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Jim and Brian made time to chat to everyone John

The best local restaurant/bar in Dooradoyle. lovely staff, reasonably priced and a great family atmosphere. would not go anywhere in the dooradoyle/raheen area .
