I went to the restaurant and ordered an Urban 8 burger and some drinks. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. I was served by a tall waiter whose name I don't remember, extremely friendly and professional. I loved the experience! I'll definitely be back.

Two friendly women with lovely smiles served me. they were very kind. they let me know the portion might be a bit large for one person and suggested I could take the rest to go if I got full. I’m still not very confident with my English, so I was a bit nervous and forgot to say this at the end, but the food was also really delicious! I’ll definitely come again :)

18/09/2025: Great stay, staff attentive and friendly. Very spacious and comfortable room, nicely appointed, and some personal touches like a handwritten welcome letter from the hotel manager were appreciated. Fantastic shower! Good central location to the Temple Bar area if you are going for tourism, but tucked away on a quieter street. The rest of Dublin is easily accessible walking or via public transport. Will definitely be back. (Photos pictured are of the King Guest Room).
16/08/2025: Compartimos un cóctel de gambas para empezar y fue excelente, gambas y langosta, muy bueno. Teníamos el filete de 8 oz y 8 oz ribeye y ambos eran excelentes, y sabemos bien filete y son exigentes! La guarnición de verduras salteadas era muy buena, la guarnición de espárragos con salsa holandsise y Gruyère derretido era excelente, perfectamente cocinado. Gran comida, tal vez elegimos cuidadosamente debido a las críticas anteriores, pero esta comida era muy buena, volvería, el ambiente era tranquilo, espacioso, no demasiado ruidoso, buena música de fondo y buen Servicio.

09/09/2025: Beautiful old pub, over 150 years old. What a nice discovery. Beautiful dark atmosphere inside, wood paneling, old pictures hanging on the walls, very comfortable tables and seats. One of the best pints of Beamish in the city and some great service from the staff. Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening. Highly recommended.
