Urbanity in Dublin

Went for breakfast and it was great. I would definitely recommend here for their breakfast. The service was a bit unfriendly though. Got a negative vibe from some staff members. Shame cause its a nice place.

I really want to like this place but always leave disappointed - food is so so and service slow.

I am not often in town but when I DO have reason to go to the City Centre, I make a beeline for Urbanity, just off Smithfield. This place is truly worth a detour! Food selection is phenomenal. The range on offer is just mouth-watering with great attention to flavour and seasoning. The soups are hearty and imaginative and, served with outstanding brown bread, a meal in itself. Add a glass of wine and you have a feast. Great coffee too. On my visit last week, midweek, finding Urbanity to be dog-friendly when I met the owner's gorgeous wheaten terrier really made my day. Thanks to the always cheerful staff too.

It was fine. Coffee was nice but didn’t stand out. Service took quite a while despite being the only customer. More friendly customer service would be a good way to improve the offering here as there’s many alternatives nearby.

I absolutely loved Urbanity! I tried their **mushroom brunch**, and it honestly stood out from any other I’ve had in Dublin. It’s the *only place* where I’ve seen the chefs actually take the time to use **four or five different types of mushrooms** in one dish — each with a unique flavor and texture that made the plate feel really special. The presentation was beautiful, the ingredients tasted super fresh, and the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. Perfect spot for a weekend brunch or a relaxed catch-up with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍄☕🥑

Eye wateringly pricey for pretty average breakfast. The scrambled eggs on toast would have been nicer if they didn't try to add weird tasting extra ingredients. Shared benches are uncomfortable and so wide that you can't hear there person opposite. Staff were friendly and attentive

Quite expensive, but the waffles weren't very good. They weren't warm and quite chewy. But this was probably a healthier version; I might not be hip enough. The coffee was good, and the food arrived quickly.

Nuestro último día, vino a tomar café y chocolate caliente. Lugar fresco, amable y espacioso. Menu es lo que yo llamaría hipster pero parecía un as. No lo sostendré IT contra ellos, pero un buen croissant habría caído en un placer. El mejor café de lejos si te gusta IT caliente fuerte e intenso con un agua fresca de menta en el grifo - un buen toque hipster 😁

Tenía opciones de desayuno todo el día de halloumi a la parrilla y un tazón de batido, con café y capuchino. Todo sabroso. Un día laborable a media mañana bastante ocupado pero no lleno.
