Valley Cafe in Navan (an uaimh)

As far as chippers go in Navan, you’re simply not going to beat the valley for quality. They are unreal. However they are on the pricier side and chip portions seem to have gotten pretty small in recent years- hence the 4 star. Would rather pay a bit more and get proper portion of chips

As an institution already lauded for their humble chip, you’d think: “how could a chip of this calibre possibly be improved?” My friend, I have something to share with you: The garlic cheese chips may send you into another dimension. I have experienced a lifetime of joy in the 5 minutes that it took to devour them. I feel like I know finally what it is to eat Ambrosia. Have you ever taken ecstasy? Now you don’t have to. The Valley Café has your back, son. Yes, democracy may be crumbling before our eyes and yes, there are untold horrors unfolding all around us… But at least, for 5 goddamn minutes, we can fall into unadulterated bliss, lent to us by garlic cheese chips from this quiet empire of grease and contentment.
