Only place in navan to get a decent bag of chips at a reasonable price. Eating in is a great option too.

I was there today to get a takeaway. The order was 2 small milkshakes, 2 cod portions, a small chip and a large chain. The charge was €32.40 He took €35 from me and I asked for a receipt which he gave me but without any change. Way too costly for a takeaway

07/03/2026: Fish and chips were flavorless except for oil. Burgers were ok. Never checked on once after we gave order. Not an enjoyable meal.
18/02/2026: I found it to be a bit limited in variety on the menu. However the decor was lovely. The food was superb and the service was very sufficient and friendly. I will say the drinks on draft having only one option is a significant let down for a place like this. Cocktails galore but I could only have Peroni if I wanted a pint.

The Gate

11/04/2026: Had a lovely experience in the gate today!! The women who greeted me were so lovely and really made my experience 10x better. The food being great was a huge plus as well !! Definitely recommend.
30/03/2026: Lovely restaurant, centrally located in Navan town. Highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast - mushrooms were cooked beautifully. Staff are friendly and professional. Will be back!
