VDA Blessington is fab! We go there on a regular basis for the best service (thanks to Dan and his team) coffee, snacks and Christmas sandwiches😁đŸ„Ș There's seating inside and outside...so definitely call in!

As an avid connoisseur of toasted sandwiches I do not say it lightly that the special toastie at VDA is the best I have ever purchased. Real thick cut ham and smoked cheese with a side of relish. If you’re in Blessington don’t miss it.

The Avon

31/03/2026: Avon Resort in Blessington, Wicklow is one of those places that’s just easy and relaxing from the moment you arrive. Parking is straightforward, costs around 3 euro, and everything is right there. There is a nice cafe, a few food options like pizza and kebab, and even a dog wash area which is a nice touch. The whole place feels very well set up without being too busy or overwhelming. The best part is definitely the view of Blessington Lake. Once you start walking, you go through a lovely woodland trail and then suddenly open up to the lake with really beautiful views. It is peaceful and not overly crowded, which makes it even better. They also have live music at times, especially on weekends or special occasions, which adds to the overall vibe. Overall, Avon Resort in Blessington is a great spot if you are around Dublin or Wicklow and want a mix of nature, food, and a relaxed day out.
09/03/2026: Didn't stay but had a lovely coffee and pizza looking out at the wonderful lakes. The barista guy was really lovely. Very nice views!
