Victorian Tea Rooms in Straffan

Lovely place for breakfast or a scone. A little expensive for what you get. Unfortunately a sign of the times. Not as busy as previous visits.

Pricy to eat but a lovely setting and great food.

Very nice place, food excellent, & no delays.

I went to the Tea rooms on a recommendation from family. When we arrived there were no tables inside which was not a problem so we sat outside. Shortly after arriving a lovely member of staff came out to us and said there would be table available inside. We ordered lunch which was okay but nothing to get too excited about. We also had dessert, I had the chocolate brownie which was delicious! My family order the coffee cake which was terrible, it was cold and hard as if it had been frozen and defrosted. We sent them back and got something else instead but there was no real apology about the cake. For the price of the deserts I would expect better. I did find it overpriced for what you are getting.

A quaint little place for a nice cup of tea and some cake. The tea variety is brilliant and the apple pie is stunning! Service is top notch!

Food and service were excellent, there was 6 of us and it was very busy
