Victorian Tea Times in Arklow

Afternoon tea at the vintage tea rooms in Arklow yesterday. What a great way to spend a few hours. We got to dress up in the most fabulous dresses, with gloves, hats and all kinds of wonderful accessories. Plenty of time for photos Then sat down to tea, served in china cups, with delicate sandwiches, scones and mouthwatering cakes. No rush to move us on. Staff were friendly and service was excellent Well worth a trip

Great craic and decent food. Lots of dresses to choose from and accessories. A fun activity to do with a group of friends.

Myself and my friends organised a suprise birthday visit for our friend who loves all things vintage fashion, tea, and historic. So, naturally, when we found out about this place, we just had to go. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic, which makes you appreciate the experience that bit more. They whisked us off to pick out our dresses and accessories, before we spent about 15 minutes having our photos taken (with a few VERY helpful pose suggestions to fit into the Victorian period). Afternoon tea rolled out afterwards and we had plenty of time to sit back, relax, and completely unwind in a beautifully ornate room with antique furnishings. Special shout out to the staff for accommodating a vegan-friendly afternoon tea platter upon request for myself (I would suggest reaching out over phone or email first just to be sure they can accommodate any dietary needs) Excited to visit again in the future! 💖

Beautiful place, wonderful, helpful staff. It was great experience to feel as lady in this beautiful dress. Great atmosphere, all small details, and food and coffee was very tasty, fresh and homemade. Would be nice to come back. Great place for hen party, birthdays or just friends day out. ❤️

Despite this not being something I would usually look for, the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the costumes to the tea and hand made pastries. It felt like a highly organised and well designed experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this for anyone and I am sure that both partners will enjoy it.
