Came here for our wedding anniversary on Thursday 11th June. Have been hearing great things about the place for ages. Great service and nicely laid out room. The quality of the ingredients is stand out here. And the chef knows how to respect them. The burrata starter was so simple, yet mind blowing flavour. I had the lobster special (first time trying lobster), and was glad i did. Problem is this has set the bar very high and I fear nothing will come close to unit again. I guess I'll just have to come back. My wife had the prawns and veal. Both cooked to perfection. A few reviews mention that its a bit pricey. When you take into account the quality of ingredients, the skill of the chef to make them sing, the service and the atmosphere, the price was bang on. I cant wait to pop back in to sample more of the menu.

Probably the best eating out and food experience I have had in Ireland in recent times. Menu is reasonably priced considering the effort that is put into it. I had duck terrine starter and venison for the main event which were both spectacular. Staff are amazing too. Highly recommended for a special meal or date night.

The starters were absolutely fantastic — the scallops and prawns were fresh, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Unfortunately, the sharing rib of beef was a letdown. It was very chewy with a thick piece of gristle running through it. We finished it as we were quite hungry, but for €90+ I would have expected a significantly better cut of beef. When I mentioned it to the waitress, her response — “well it’s not a chateaubriand” — came across as dismissive and a little insulting. Rib eye cuts shouldn’t be chewy, and I’ve had noticeably better steak in other nearby ‘neighbourhood’ restaurants.
