Great experience - a perfect place to go to get out of the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar. The cocktail menu is extensive and delicious. Highly recommend

Step into a true gem amidst Temple Bar's bustle: the Vintage Cocktail Club (VCC). Hidden behind an unassuming black door, this speakeasy transports you to another era. Even without a reservation on a Sunday, we snagged a spot at the bar and were immediately impressed. Their extensive cocktail menu is a journey through time, featuring exquisite drinks that span centuries. The atmosphere is truly special – despite being packed, the hushed conversations and soft music created a wonderfully intimate vibe, reminiscent of the Prohibition era. Our knowledgeable bartender, with his strong Irish accent, guided us through the selections. If you're looking for a quiet, exceptional drink experience in the heart of the city, VCC is a must-try. I'll definitely be back!

Drinks were good, but the place and the food were mediocre. Expected more.

A very interesting experience as from the outside you have no idea what is inside. We had a lovely welcome and enjoyed delicious cocktails and a cheese board. Thanks to all the hardworking staff.

Super cool vibe. It's very much a speakeasy outside and in. The cocktail menu is deep and varied, walking through cocktail history / eras. Every thing we ordered was terrific, the staff was super helpful in helping you find something you would like.

Many years ago when visiting Dublin we overheard a waiter recommending VCC as an exclusive hidden gem, his diners were suitably impressed and we vowed to visit at some point. Only disappointed that we left it so long.
When in Dublin between Christmas and New Year we managed to make a booking for food and drinks. What a fabulous place, situated in Crown Alley right in the heart of Temple Bar, opposite The Old Storehouse pub, the only evidence is a black door with the letters VCC on, ring the bell, wait to be attended to, climb the stairs and enter the cutest place ever.
Full of comfy chairs, chandeliers, opulent fabrics, you feel as if you have stumbled on to a 1920’s film set.
Our food was good, we ordered charcuterie and cheese boards, thankfully the waitress misheard us (or maybe she just knew best) and we received a full meat board with added cheese for a supplement of £11 as opposed to a full cheese board at £19. It really was plenty for two and very tasty. We returned a couple of nights later just for cocktails, again a fabulous experience.
The service was great, especially from the fabulous mixologist working on the 30/12, great craic and some good local recommendations. The decor and ambiance are stunning. Book in advance, the secret is out and it’s very popular. Highly recommended.
