Walsh's Bakery Clifden in Clifden

After an unfortunately rainy day, it was all the better to drink a very good and hot cocoa and as my husband said delicious cappuccino and also our selection of cakes was the right one, unfortunately I only photographed the counter, it was a pleasure. Thank you for that, the memory remains. A typical bakery, pastry shop, as I know them from here in Germany, lovingly run, greeted and served with symbolic looks

Great veggie sausage roll and service,the cakes etc looked great

Went here for coffee & cake. Lattes were lovely. Coffee slice was just okay very little cream in it which made it dry. Paninis were gorgeous. Staff were okay.

We were staying at Station House Hotel and needed to get a cake without driving into Galway City. Just 2 days before we needed ot, we were able to call and order a Gluten-free cake. I have a wheat allergy and it's often hard to find baked goods. We were only able to order one size and one flavor. Black Forrest with fresh creme. It was quite dear at €50. This is something I've gotten used to as I always have to pay extra to accommodate my allergy. Let me tell you my SHOCK when I realized how BIG this cake was. It was beautiful and it tasted great. Between the short notice, the size of the cake and the taste, the price aas well worth it. I only have one pic as the family sliced into it before I could get a proper one lol.
