Very oldie worldie but staff are lovely. You have to get a ferry onto the island

No words can express the absolutely perfection that we experienced at Waterford Castle for our daughter’s wedding! It was beyond our hopes and dreams. They seamless took care of all the pieces for our stay and ceremony. We seriously felt like family. Gillian is the most professional, amazing, conscientious coordinator you could ask for. Her attention to detail and true caring showed in everything she did! Sally was so lovely. Fiona made us feel so well taken care of. Ryan served us well, if you know what I mean!!😉🥃🍸. Antonio was so helpful! Micheal is a gem and always put a smile on our face! Needless to say we loved our time at the castle!! ❤️

Great place for a vacation with friends and family.

A castle on an island, connected to the mainland by ferry! A truly unique and special experience. The castle itself is incredible. A magical place and well worth the visit

Our friends got married here and all the guests stayed on site for the wedding. Simply, it rocked, the bees knees, couldn't have been better. The grounds are great, the food was amazing, the golf course is a cool layout, and there is an albino wallaby that lives on the island. If you are considering it as a venue or even just a stay, I couldn't recommend it more.

Very unique place being on an Island - we were at a wedding there, service not great and 1st stayed in a lodge (€250) went for breakfast in the hotel and was charged €26.50 very expensive and was not nice! Food at wedding was cold and small portions, rooms are ok but our room had a humidifier running for the full time we were there so obviously a damp issue. Stuff a little bit rude which is poor seeing the couple have spent a fortune to have their wedding there overall 3 at best

Our wedding at Waterford Castle was nothing short of magical. The castle's charm and stunning surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. The team at the castle delivered exceptional service and their attention to detail made everything effortless and truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue.

An idyllic setting, it is a very special place to stay

both the hotel and restaurant are great. the feeling that you are in a medieval castle is something. highly recommended.
